High-level platform architecture

The Linksight platform allows organizations to collaborate on data in a privacy-friendly way. It can be seen as a distributed system, where analyses will be conducted over multiple parties.

The following schematic is a high-level depiction of the architecture:

Systems

There are three types of systems on the Linksight platform:

  • Governance Hub (hosted at https://linksight.network): The component where data collaborations and data collaboration governance are managed.
  • Data station: The component where the datasets are managed and protocols are run together with other data stations across organizations.
  • Analysis Hub: The component where users interact with the data station to run data analyses.

Deployment of the Linksight software

The data station and the Analysis Hub should either run on-premise or in a cloud environment (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) of the organization. To install the Linksight software, follow one of the following guides:
